Anya has been practicing physical therapy in an out-patient setting since she graduated from the University of Montana School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in May of 2014. While Anya works with orthopedic injuries of all types, her primary specialty is in rehabilitation of running related injuries as well as other endurance sports related injuries. Anya understands the importance of a well-functioning body for sustaining physical and mental well-being of those who wish to push the limits of adventure and fitness. She believes that everyone’s physical goals are very specific to the individual and enjoys aiding folks of all ages and fitness levels to reaching their personal goals, whether it be running a 100 mile trail race, or being able to tolerate hiking for 30 minutes without pain. She is passionate about utilizing current evidence-based interventions and technology in order to optimize outcomes so you can continue to pursue your passions.
Anya’s personal history with sports includes gymnastics, collegiate track and field (pole vault), competitive marathon and ultra-marathon running, mountain biking, cycling, triathlon, and climbing. Primarily, she enjoys anything involving adventures in nature.
